Winamp Visualisations. Finally :-) (2 Viewers)

Build 14498 opens now the preview of Winamp Visualisations in a separate form.
Hopefully this fixes the problems that some of you reported in this thread.

Yes!! Now it works for me to configure Milkdrop in MP Config without crash.
Thank hwahrmann. This is a great feature in music visu. Nice work.

I have one problem more on my HTPC. If Milkdrop runs in fullscreen and I stop the music from the stop button on my remote, then MP takes 50% of my CPU power and everything gets permanent slow.
To avoid this problem I need first to exit Milkdrop fullscreen and then stop the music. After this everything work ok again.
Does anyone have the same problem?

I'm having problems with this. I've just installed build 14501 and can't get the configuration to see milkdrop. I've included the directory structure. What am I doing wrong?

Is the Sonic Vis detected?

The alchemy one? Yes, that's listed.

No, Alchemy is a WMP vis.
Your directory listing posted above shows a Sonique Vis (vov-sa172.svp).
Is that displayed?

Have just tried and it makes no difference, the mediaportal configuration still doesn't give me it as an option.

Actually you were wrong there, should be:
c:\Program Files\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal\MusicPlayer\plugins\visualizations\
