your only chance is change your Resolution of MP to 640x480.

i'am work on BassVis with this.
MP used own WMP Plugin not BassVis for WMP.

milkdrop plays in the config window, but when i start playing an mp3 with mediaportal, i just get a black square in both thumbnail view and fullscreen. It worked the first time i used it, but never again.

Strange, for me it works great, in config, thumbnails and full screen.
Also, song titles are displayed when they change.
You can use all the usual Milkdrop type stuff too, like adjusting how the title is displayed, how long for and what effects it comes in and out with.
I love music in MP now.
Especially since I can just say to my PC "Alice, play music, genre classical" and she does. With milkdrop she now looks really nice when playing as well.
It's a sure way to impress people...

i re-installed it, and the same thing hasppened. Milkdrop worked the first time, then never again after that. It starts in the config window and i can eneter the milkdrop config and all, but when i goto view it inside mediaportal i just get a black box. Can somone please help?

NOTE: i have tried both milkdrop v4 and v5.03b6

ok, i fixed that problem, it was somthing to do with internet radio auto playting when i opened media portal.

But now i8 have a new problem, everytime i am full screen mode with milkdrop, at each song change it shrinks the picture to the thumbnail size and leaves the rest of the screen black. Once this happens you cannot get out of this black screen, you7 haver to exit media portal and start again.

Winamp Vis crashes after watching TV or Video

Hello,

my winamp visualisation (milk drop) works fine if I don't watch TV or video before starting the music.
When I want to play music after watching TV or video (both stopped before switching to music) the winamp vis won't work until I restart MP.
Sometimes I got an error message on windows screen that video memory is not enough (cannot believe, my graphic adaptor has 512 MB memory/ Nvidia 7600GS) sometimes MP switches to minimized mode, sometimes it hangs completely that I have to kill it by task manager.
This behavior is skin independend. Decreasing video resolution in visualisation config, changing frame rate or changing color from X-RGB to RGB does not help.

My logfiles are attached.

Would be great to get this problem solved...

Anyone got it working in Vista?
When playing some song it just blinks and gets back to MP. Now when I try to open the config tab, the preview window just gets stuck on top of the desktop and I can't close it
I'm using MP 0.2.3.0 RC2...

For me its working with Vista Ultimate 32bit. Only when watching TV or video before, I have to quit and restart MP before starting music play, if not the viz will not work.

I posted this here before but did not get an answer yet.

any reasonthis plugin shouldnt work? I can run it in config and it looks great there, but inside MP i get something like 1 FPS. Its not a matter of resources as ive tried running it in winamp with MP running in the back. CPU load is around 30% i think.

edit: Never mind. How is that debugging of the tripex going?
Wa3d doesnt work either, it uses default config. When i config the visualization plugins, where does the config files get stored? Was wondering if i might be able to edit those files manually to get wa3d to run with higher res and other settings.
