Hi,

I have a problem when playing music with a visualisation full screen. The visualisation works fine but when you let a song end and it goes to the next track the screen goes balck and the visualisation and album cover can be seen in the window in the bottom left corner (where it would be if viewing music menus etc). However, if you skip forward a track or backwards a track it doesnt do this. Its only when you klet the music play and a new track starts on its own. This is a relatively new bug as I havn't noticed it before.

EDIT: It seems to be only when cross fade is set to 0 secs.

Cheers,
Colin

i can't seem to get this working with the new 2.3RC1

i was wondering if it was just me or is this only working in the svn builds.

i've copied the winamp milk drop folder into

\MusicPlayer\plugins\visualisations\Winamp\Milkdrop <--- all my files are in there

\MusicPlayer\plugins\visualisations\Winamp\vis _milk.dll <-- only has the dll and

the milk drop folder

when going back into the visualisations tab in the config menu, the only visualisation i can choose from is the default windows media player one, or nothing

i'm not sure how i'm meant to change presets when in media portal, or if it is even possible, but to my limited knowledge it seems like nothing has changed since i copied those files into the media portal directory.

Read this and paste not files in any folder.

still using 2.3 rc1 public release.

ok i've since changed to the beta milkdrop dll i saw earlier, i didn't bother at first because when reading through the thread i saw that older dll's were now incorporated, this doesn't seem to be the case. I didn't change the directories either.

anyway, i've got the plugin working for the most part now, the only thing left for me to try figure out is how to see the song title, song time, and the visualisation (the f2, f3 and f4 functions) name when in mp. i can see them when i'm in the config menu in mp's setup, but i'm unsure of how to save them

unfortunately i was not able to make the function keys work.
they have different usages within mediaportal and mp always grabs them.
i'm still searching on it but with low priority, since i have other tasks to do.
