    Hi,

i have milkdrop 2.21 running on MP. I use MP 1.1 final and Win 7. Milkdrop works, but not correct. It seems there is no connection to the beat. I already read this :

I had the same problem and I think I solved it by UNselecting "Show visualization (BASS player only)" under Music -> Now playing.

It sounds a bit contradictional to me to switch of visualizations to get it to work, but it works for me.

I tried your solution, but it wont work in fullscreen, and i use the visualisation in now playing like on the screenshot in the post befor. I wait for a new bassvis.dll, but thanks for all the help.
    :D

    gruss

    translate with Google!
Well if I was a developer of MP I would worry myself to the visualization.
There is nothing better than when the maker of a "DLL" are those things even care because he knows best.
But unfortunately I am not a developer of MP (also know not whether I had the nerve to the long term ;) ).

I'll have a look at your problems within the next 2 weeks.

There was a feature freeze until 1.1 was released and i couldn't replace the dll, since also the wrapper changed.

I got it reacting to the beat on the first try, but then I was stupid enough to go and mess with the settings and now it doesn't work anymore. I tried all the tricks posted here, but for some reason I can't get it working right again. Is this the only folder the plugin stores any data or do I need to delete something else too?

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MusicPlayer\plugins\visualizations\winamp

There must be something else too, because it did work at first, but after fiddling with the settings it doesn't react any more.

Edit: Apparently I hadn't tried everything. The "upmix to 5.1" seems to work for some reason :)

I can agree, the "upmix to 5.1" seems to work, beatreaction works fine.
