Winfast tv2000 xp deluxe wont scan channels (1 Viewer)

since the winfast card is analog only, if you're using the latest SVN, it crippled analog across the board due to an issue with TSreader... I'm guessing that will be fixed with the next SVN roll out on friday.
On another note, I used to use that card, but for me the software based mpeg2 decoding caused a problem for media portal and put my meager 2.26Ghz P4 processor at near 100%, so I migrated to the hardware based mpeg2 decoding Huppauge HVR-1600. Sure it doesn't have FM radio, but it does have analog (NTSC), ATSC, and ClearQAM support.

I meant use MP client to try to spot how it's requesting streams for specific channels and then try to do the same with VLC.
TV Server development looks dead so I'm afraid you're going to have to figure that out by yourself if it's even possible.

Well, the log doesn't show any problems. I can see correctly tuned channels in the log. It seems to me that the tuner works fine.
Can you copy the created ts file(located in your timeshift folder) somewhere else while in channel preview and try to play it in VLC or MPC-HC?

The Germany-Full doesn't have all the channels either. But I've now found out that I can read the frequencies using DVB-Viewer, which also receives all the channels I can receive. I'll use that to create my own channel file. Let's see if that works.
