WinTV-HVR-1950 does it work with mediaportal? (1 Viewer)

does anybody have the WinTV-HVR-1950 working with Mediaportal? I am looking for something USB so that it will work on my old laptop. (the PCMCIA port is in use for my SATA Raid)

I'd like to know too. After all it is Hauppauge, with the same chip and everything, right? It arrived this morning and Mediaportal didn't natively pick it up. I'll try to manually add it but that's gonna take a while...Anybody out who's got this working sucessfully? Thanks!

Thanks! Too bad Mediaportal doesn't support the HVR 1950 yet; hopefully in the future.

MP1 MP2 Wintv-Dual does not find all channels for DVB-C DE
Thank you very much for the tip. The Germany-Full doesn't have all the channels either. But I've now found out that I can read the frequencies using DVB-Viewer, which also receives all the channels I can receive. I'll use that to create my own channel file. Let's see if that works.

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! When I first start watching a TV program the timeshift functions works perfectly. I can shift back and forth in time and it works...

MP1 MP2 RTSP - test with VLC on same box, correct syntax? DE
I meant use MP client to try to spot how it's requesting streams for specific channels and then try to do the same with VLC. TV Server development looks dead so I'm afraid you're going to have to figure that out by yourself if it's even possible.
