At the moment there is no 64 bit release of MP2 yet. The upcoming version 2.3 supports 64 bit for the MP2-Client (selectable, both versions are available in a single installlation). The server component will be 32 bit only because of native components of the TV feature.
There is no official release date for MP 2.3 yet, so please stay patient.

yes that is indeed what I did in that ticket. It may already be working without updating those plugins because most of it was not relevant to the plugin itself (test, some leftover unused parts etc).
