Can you check the tvguide.xml: the first lines might give some indication about service and auxiliary files used.

    Here is the full tvguide.xml.

Edit: Removed 160MB file. Added small version.

Mate, I asked for the fist lines - not a full 160 MB download ;).

Please just open the file yourself and take a look at the beginning of the file. The text should be self-explanatory. If not just copy a few lines from the beginning and upload them.

Oops. Sorry about that. Here is a small copy.[DOUBLEPOST=1438017160][/DOUBLEPOST]I set up an account on Schedules Direct and downloaded a file. I changed the mappings on a few of the channels and walla. Looks like Ron pegged it. M$ has killed the legacy.

I'll finish the mappings and do another update and let everyone know.

    Thank you for the help.

the beginning of your original tvguide.xml had "tv source-info-name="Zap2it" generator-info-name="mc2xml" so this was the old legacy, now-dead option

Somehow I missed the announcement, when was the final death?

Also, Schedules Direct appears to be working fine. Thank you again!

I was able to use zap2xml instead of mc2xml to update my tvguide.xml file and allow for programs to import into xmltv.

Follow the steps 1 and 2 from this site, http://zap2xml.awardspace.info/.

Download zap2xml.exe. Create a new folder for the TV guide data. Place xmltv.dtd and zap2xml.exe in this new folder.

Make a new task scheduler entry and disable the old mc2xml. Schedule the task every other day at 3am for example.

    Set the action of the task to start a program, "zap2xml -u zap2xmluser@email.xx -p password -o tvguide.xml -e -D"

    You will need the exact file locations, i used "c:\EPG\zap2xml" -u zap2xmluser@email.xx -p password -o "c:\EPG\tvguide.xml" -e -D

I had a popup asking to use options and selected yes.

Manually run zap2xml.exe to have tvguide.xml created.

    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_..._TV_Setup/4_TV_Guide_Setup_(EPG)/XMLTV_mc2xml

    From the
    Setup XMLTV Plugin section
Point XMLtv to grab the tvguide.xml from the new folder. Click import. This takes some time.
    Channel Mappings section
Load/Refresh button. Setup channel mappings, click save.
    Setup XMLTV Plugin section
Click import. This takes some time. Make sure "total programs imported" shows a large number instead of 0

Open Mediaportal to make sure the tvguide listings show up. Let me know if you have any questions.

When I tested MP 2.5 some months ago using TVE3.5, I found that "scan for channels" failed to find any channels when I selected a DVB-T2 tuner (a TBS 6284) :(, but succeeded when I used a DVB-T tuner (a Pinnacle 2000i) :). Obviously the Pinnacle found only those channels broadcast in DVB-T MUXes (in the UK we have both DVB-T MUXes and...

@Pablik I finally got back to this, and I got it working. What I did was this. I intended to copy the UHD-BR disc to my local hard drive, so I put the disc in the drive, and then brought up MakeMKV. In MakeMKV I went through the initial steps to copy the UHD-BR disc to my drive, and while MakeMKV was parsing the disc, I noticed a...
