As Ron has said: MP records the raw data received by the tuner. That's exactly the same as WMC. If the channel broadcasts 720p then you'll get 720p recordings; if it broadcasts 1080i then you'll get 1080i recordings.

My problems with 1.8 on my server ONLY were that the themes did not work - but they are fine on the clients.
(Can't provide debug logs - works fine on the Titan default.)
But both server and clients don't like exit/reboot - they just sit there doing nowt.

Literally depends on the motor and where you're going (Hippasat to Hot Bird is around 35 degrees).

A year gone by and.... I gave a new shot for win 8.1 and had the same problem again... And the tool you suggested solved the problem :) the reveiver shows PCM 5.1 continuously (except during bitstreaming Dolby or DTS) and I have my GUI sounds!!! Thank you @megahorst
