I can't find any way to rate them in MePo's GUI. Or is this something you need to do in the backend (Configuration)?

Would it be possible to add a star rating (1-5) for pictures in the database, preferably even within browsing files? This way, you could make custom folders from all of your pictures, so if you want to share them when friends visit, you can just show all the best ones in the same slide show...

I wanted to turn off all Zoom modes except Normal, Zoom and Stretched, so I did in Configuration. But as Cinema scope is not available to remove from the list of zoom modes, it cannot be removed from the available modes. Is this a bug?

I've switched out the .dll files, set MediPortal to start as Windows starts, and hey presto, it works. Well, at least the first time I've tried it.

I moved the .dll out from that folder onto my Desktop, changed the MediaPortal setting to autostart as before, and MediaPortal started up as expected, without any problems. In the Configuration, you can add a wait before launch, I'm gonna try 30 seconds now and see if that works for me, maybe...

It seems to work. Maybe my HTPC is getting too old. :( I will try this way for a while, just to make sure it works every time.

I've just set it up to start when Windows starts in MediaPortal Configuration: General Startup/Resume settings Autostart MediaPortal on Windows startup I will try removing it from that and restart, then wait a couple of minutes and see if that works.

I tried the third option in Watchdog after I had killed a hanged MediaPortal too, not sure if it's any help to you though.
