To be honest though, unless you have a huge screen (100" +) I dont think there would be much of a difference. Black at 720p is the same as black at 1080p
Album Art/DVD covers may render slightly nicer I guess.
Actually album art should render already nicer when using a 1080p display with the 720p skin. No need to have any support from the skin side (Of cource you will need to have high quality album art to see the difference.)
I do have one issue, but I don't know if it's related to the theme not being native 1080p or due to the videodriver or something. In the scrolling text areas e.g. in My Movies (imdb info) there's some 'pixelation'. Between the lines, I see random white dots, which shouldn't be there. It's not really bothersome, but I was wondering if other (1080p) users have this issue too.
I don't believe there's a newer version for Vista. It could easily be my hardware, I've got an Aopen MiniPC which uses the intel 965 express chipset. I'm not a fan of onboard video, but lack of space pushed me towards the minipc. Cute piece of hardware I must say.
To other people reading about this 'issue', Doskabouter provided me with a fix/patch. It is a modified version of tswriter.ax which solved the problem with dolby digital plus audio.
I want to thank Doskabouter for all his time and energy he put into resolving this!!

I suspected that might be the case, It was a process, and plenty of opportunities with mobo upgrade/cloning system drive, increasing share drive capacities and OS upgrade, all going on. I did a reinstall and restored user files, after everything settled in, and the issue seems to have gone away.
Thanks!

Have no idea what was at the root of this problem....still wondering if it may've been due to a Win11 update earlier this week?
