    The logs is here:
    C:\Program Files(installation path)\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal\log\MediaPortal.log
    It's a txt file so you can use notepad.

    well i realized the problem and why the plugins dont work. its because when i go to check the plugin i want under my plugins, it doesnt stay checked. like the check dissapears. is their something i need to turn on or a save button to push.

    I don't use iTunes either, but there are a couple of possibilities.

    You should have two ticks in the pkug in section for iTunes. one in enabled and one for the home screen. After this then you simply press "OK" to save and exit the conbfig.

    It's also possible that iTunes needs some specific configuration. Highlight the entire row that makes up the plugin and press "configure"

    Edit: actually, I've just tested and the tick does not stay in the home screen. This is because there is no gui for the plugin, just as tomtom2100 has said. There are a number of plugins that work in the background and so can not appear in the menu. PowerScheduler is also like this.
