You propably have installed the "out-of-date" beta 2 of Moving Pictures. The beta 3 - version uses JPG-Pictures again.

Just download the new beta 3, install it and run it's configuration. The backdrops will then be converted into JPG-format in a backround-process (you won't see any progress bar or something like that, so just wait a few minutes).

Small bug report, the parental controls features of Moving Pictures are not working. When you select "Toggle Parental Controls" nothing happens.

I think this may have been reported before as I dimly recall something about a missing PIN entry HTML...that could just be me though.

Thanks for a great skin. I'm loving the revamped configuration screens for Fanart and Menu Editor. They are much more logically laid out now.

One minor issue:

It seems like the NEW image overlay stays on everything in MyTVSeries.

Is this a known issue?

Hi cul8er,

Skin getting better, thats always a good thing. I've come across a couple problems tho (dont you hate it when people come here just to mention problems?).
This is a fresh install of mp 1.1 RC1 and xfactor 547. I only add one extra item to menu 4(the tv menu), changed the defualt layout to horizontalRSS, and made slight fixes to paths so that the single images show up. Everything else is exactly as default.

Atleast in the horizontalRSS layout, when going down so that the weather shows underneth the rss feed, the backgrounds for weather dont show. This is the same also for weather under the Plugins menu (menu 6). Are weather backgrounds just broken?

For single images, you need to add the Animations folder to the path for them to show up. By default all the single images dont have animations\ in front of them so they dont work. The path that works looks like"Animations\settings\default.jpg".

When trying to fix all the single images, you have to change the path. It would be faster to type animations\ to the front of the path, but you cant since every time you click in that edit box, a file select dialog comes up, which just makes things slower :s.

So the problems are, weather backgrounds dont work, the single image paths are wrong, and those select file dialogs are annoying.

In regards to your plan to release faster, please dont. I love this skin, but after about a year or two, I have yet to find an install of this skin to work outright. I always have to fix it. Now i know that sounds like a whiny complant, but i recommend you spend more time on testing. When you think your ready to give it out to the public, pass it to a couple testers you trust. Peeps who will go through all of it first, from an update, to a fresh install, to every window. Let them play with it for a couple days or a week. While they test it you can go build the next one, but if they find something wrong, its just a quick fix. After a weekor so, you release it to the public, and you will have the knowledge that it has been tested, and that you wont have to release a fix a couple days later. You have been doing alot of these fixes releases.

Please dont take this the wrong way, I love this skin, I'm just passing ideas that I hope will make it that much better. I fully understand that you can ignore all of this,,, it is your skin after all.

Thank you for your feedback. A good idea to test more. I would love and active test team for both this skin and the fanart handler plugin. So if anyone is willing to join a test group that would be great but today I'm alone skinning, testing, developing the fanart handler plugin, the xfactor menu editor plugin, the xfactor music info plugin so you see this is not easy and I'm about to reach my limit here...

If you need help with the testing, or the coding of the menu editor and fanart handler, I would be happy to help. I dont want to just say these things and not follow on with my words. I've been working with your skin files for a while now, mainly with making the xfactor skin support for the my anime plugin.
