Unable to enter TV-Server Configuration

Hi guys, thank you for the hard work and I wish I didn't have to post here...

I have updated from a fresh RC2 (not an update from RC1, has been used and was working with just a minor issue which I reported) to RC3 and I cannot enter the TV-Server configuration utility anymore.

The TVService is started/running, recordings are being performed so everything else seems to be ok.
After restarting, it still remains like this.

Could you please tell us if you used a plain RC2 installation of TvServer or if you had some test binaries in use?
Otherwise we will never find the cause of the initial issue.

Hi romuz, yes it seems that the tv server is not updated: TVService v1.0.6.25546....

Shouldn't this have been updated, coming from a RC2?

i also used the binaries to fix the support of the tvii card and upgrade to rc3 was so smooth all is working perfect until now.

Do you have any plugins installed that are related to the TV server? Anything that could have stopped it being updated?

Hi elliottmc, good question...
I have the comskip option enabled but unlike before, it is not installed seperately but just checked - at leat not visible to the the end-user.
Another one is XMLTV and that's all I can remember.

What if I stop the TVService service manually and re-run the setup utility?
I would like to keep my settings/databases.

And manually stopping tvservice before update could be a good idea in case tvservice wasnt stopped on first rc3 installation.
