Yup, that worked. Thanks!When you've put your media on a NAS you've to change the user the service runs as. By default it runs as a local system user, which isn't allowed to access network shares. You should change the user GMA runs as to a user that has access to the network drive (in Windows' Services screen).

The internal player can't deal with my video files (ERROR_MEDIA_UNKNOWN,0) although CyanogenMod is based on Android 2.3.7.
I guess I have to wait for MPExtended, maybe this and a ney Cyanogen version can solve my problems.
Thanks for this great service! After a lot of trying I finally got it working. Now I have one thing that's bothering me. If I use the videostreaming, I can go to "Shares", "Videos", "Series" and "Films". Everything is working well except for "Videos". It's empty. Why would this be?
In the mediaportal configuration I have videofolders selected, and they will show up in MediaPortal itself.
