[Android] aMPdroid 0.8 - Streaming and more (2 Viewers)

Hi there;

I don't know if my error is because of my phone or what but, here is my problem:

I usually can connect to mediaportal and use the remote function with no problems (via WIFI). But, after some time watching a film, the app fails to connect to mediaportal and sometimes I can force it to connect again but others it can't connect at all.

Any ideas?, it seems like it loses the connection when being idle for some time...

I cannot see ive tv. I can control my Mediacenter. But which external Player I need to see live tv?

Hi, first great addon i have to say

1 question i have so far after a little testing live tv

any way to choose wich audio track should be taken, some channels here switching to wrong track (english instead german)

my setup is an tv server only, installed gma and tv4home, setted up user / pass, nothing else

if theres an tip howto, thanks ahead

I'm thinking of pairing my wiimote with my tablet. Would I be able to control ampdroid via my external IME device (my wiimote in my case)?

If such a function is possible it would come really handy given that I would be able to control TV or video streaming from distance (switching channels, play-pause movies, etc)...
For example assigning certain ime letter commands (for example "p" for play) would be really neat.

Something like Moboplayer, MX Player or Rockplayer should work.

Yes, we know of that and the option is added in the next version.

I've no clue if it's possible to do that, but this is probably outside the scope of aMPdroid and more related to Android in general.

I am just wondering when you do expect to issue the next version. I understand that now that the delta between the one currently in the market and the latest you have in development is pretty big!
