I am just wondering when you do expect to issue the next version. I understand that now that the delta between the one currently in the market and the latest you have in development is pretty big!

Any idea about the publication date?

Yes, the currently developed version (which will begin the 1.x series of aMPdroid) is considerable different (mpextended backend, design, fragment based architecture) to the one currently released in the market.

As for a publication date, an early test version will probably be available early next month to give testers/translators time to test for bugs and update the translations. The public release will probably correlate with an important holiday next month...

I've noticed that the sound level slider does not cover the entire range of my mediaportal sound range..., even if I push the slider to the maximum in ampdroid it is far from the higher level I can reach with my keyboard (just pressing the +- sound levels keys). Is that a bug?.

Gonna sound really stupid here, but I assume that all I need to connect my android device to my pc is a simple wireless dongle on the pc??

You need a WLAN router (e.g. your internet modem where you connect your laptop to). To this router you connect your PC via ethernet cable or (as I did) via wireless dongle (connected to the PC).
Then you log onto this WLAN router with your android device (via WLAN).
Having the services installed on the PC and MP running, you need android app on your android device, etc.

Hi, I have great difficult with the android client. It doesn't function anymore after a firmware update on my Samsung Galaxy S2. The writes in the menus disappeared, the remote seems to connect but nothing happens.
Maybe next version will solve this?

However there still is one problem: Loading EPG takes very long, especially if MediaPortal client on my HTPC is running. The option "Show All Channels" (German localization: Zeige "Alle Sender") seems to have no effect for me. In the EPG in aMPdroid the app always loads the group "All Channels".

(Note: The group in MP is called "All channels" (english) but I'm using the german aMPdroid where the group in settings is called "Alle Sender"). Could this be the problem?

I got the same problem. Can somebody tell what to do?

I solved my problem.

I have MP 1.2.1 installed, but not the correct version of tv4home.
So I removed the wrong version and installed the (beta) for MP 1.2 from http://tv4home.codeplex.com/releases/view/46042

And made a new group in the tv server configuration with all my channels in it.
