Another thing I have seen - when you have a video spltitet into two files you get them both in the library and not like in moving pictures in one file - any chance that this is going to be changed?

Hmm, we need to take a better look at that. It's quite easily possible to let them show up only once, but it's harder to actually treat the multiple files as a single movie (i.e. automatically start the second part when the first part finished streaming).

I think that's best-handled by the client (e.g. aMPdroid) tbh...

I have activated the "Auto-Connect" option, but when I start the aMPdroid app, it is not trying to connect to a MediaPortal client (which one would it choose, if multiple ones are defined?).

Auto-Connect means that, as soon as you click "Select", aMPdroid will try to establish a connection to wifiremote...

Hi DieBagger,

More great work! Congratulations on the 0.8 release

One thing I would still like to see fixed is the ability to start playback of movie ISO's (BD or DVD) and "Folder rips" from aMPdroid on the PC. I mentioned this a while back but you've been rather busy so I didn't hassle you about it anymore until now .

At the moment all these movie types appear nicely in aMPdroid under "Videos" but attempting to play them on the PC results in a black screen

All individual video files play back correctly.

Not sure how you currently go about starting playback on the PC? Is this a WifiRemote function? If so should I post this in that thread instead?

Also, sorry if you feel this should be a feature request rather than a bug report.

I can't download series or movies to my Galaxy Tab with Androdi 2.3.3 !
If i hit "download" it starts and ends immediately.
Status is finished but the file has 0KB.

Troubleshooting - MediaPortal Wiki -> Streaming/Downloading doesn't work (all files have 0 kb)

Thank you DieBagger for this great app!
I just downgraded from 0.8.1 to 0.8 again, because the the app has problems with the tv server functions. This section doesn't work anymore. After downgrade everything well again, without changing anything.
PS: Will there be a advertising free version?

Streaming works, but I have serious playback issues even on a HTC Hero with LQ stream. Very low fps ~1 sek, and sound is chopped into small pieces on external player

Maybe Hero does not have the required CPU:-S

Feature request: Single installer!
