still no update?

I have bought the anysee E30TC DVB-C tuner. It seems to work with Mediaportal on the unscrambled channels, but I hoped that in the meantime a driver or update/patch was available for this tuner. Is there anyone who can help us with this problem?

Currently there is no encrypted channels support in MediaPortal for Anysee DVB devices. Unfortunately I don't know no one who would be working on such support.

Is there a chance of working together with Anysee builders? They also have a plugin for ProgDVB, so why not a plugin for this program? It sells better I think. Anyone interested in contacting Anysee support? I will ask support from Clark this same question. I think when more people were asking this, a solution would be created sooner.

I am a AnySee E30TC user too and I was shocked when I noticed MediaPortal wasn't working for me.
I just love the way MediaPortal works, the only thing that holds me back of using MP full-time is the fact that it's not working for encrypted channels.

The strange thing is, is that it's working great in MCE.

It MUST be possible to make the AnySee tuner work in MP.
I'm looking forward to it.

Nothing strange about that, it is a different program. Encryption is not part of the microsoft standard and has to be coded seperately. Anysee has coded this themselves for MCE. (The CDO application)

Of course it is possible to make it work, who said it isn't?
There just seems to be nobody with the right skills, enough time and a possibility to test.

I would also like to see support for the cardreader in the Anysee E30.
Would consider lending my Anysee to a developer that would like to make this possible.

I have an idea what we can do. But I would need some technical experienced users with an Anysee card for a small test.

but if it will work, I'm not sure if we could official support this way.

Dunno if there is any active development ongoing regarding anysee cards descramble support, but they seem to have released a new driver version and new SDK online.

- Changes:
1. CanyseeCapture(streaming, descrambler includes) class added.
2. CanyseeNIMEx(NIM, LNB, DiSEqC includes) class added.
