hi mdbarber,
i use X10Receiver.NET v2 application to control MP with Niveus PC Remote (UR88A), X10Receiver.NET - Startseite.
From what i understand is that the ati remote wonder looks a lot like the UR88A. The only thing is that my remote generates two times a key code after i have pressed a key.
Any chance you know a solution?

a couple of things to try would be
1 removing all the keys and global commands in the keyboard config,
2 making sure your definition file has no duplicate keys in and
3 if you are using windows xp and get differing codes produced in the mapping section, to roll back the usb drivers to 2180.
each showed slight improvements for me

The 'double click' syndrom is easy to be solved. Just go to control panel.
There you will find a whatever called 'remote control' icon.
Select a channel that is NOT the channel of your remote.
That did the trick for me.

You can always try, select any window, turn off the Media Portal, change the ID of the selected one to the desired one (plugin) and check.
