Hi onyx666,
Sorry been busy with work. Firstly the stutter with bluray rips. It was only stuttering with certain movies. Not precisely sure what did it however when Star Trek prompted the refresh rate change it would stutter. If the movie stealth was played and then star trek, star trek would not stutter.
I tested playing Star Trek getting the stutter then exited the desktop.. The refresh rate in the NVIDIA panel was 23HZ. I selected 24 HZ and then ran media portal. Then played Star Trek and it played smooth. I suspect that something about the Star Trek format caused the wrong refresh to be selected.
In media portal setup i created a a new entry for 23Hz to be set as 24hz. I selected CINEMA as the default refresh rate. I also selected force refresh rate. That seemed to solve the problem. On running MP and starting Star Trek it then ran smoothly. Even when playing a file of a different refresh rate then restarting Star Trek it worked without stutter.
The next problem that i had was that now live tv... at 50hz... was stuttering. Nowhere near as bad the h264 but annoying. I have z5500 with SPDIF out. I changed the audio codec from default to Direct SPDIF ( not in front of the tv at the moment so can't confirm exact codec.) I also deselected the default refresh rate I set earlier. Seems to have done the trick now get smooth playback on bluray rips and tv with audio in complete sync.
Note : One thing I did notice was that before applying the above when MP was windowed I didn't get a problem however in full screen I did. I also found that if I set focus to the desktop and then back to MP it appeared to not give stutter. Something I think others have reported as well.
For info... My setup is Win 7 MP 1.1.0 Beta plus the latest SVN with Monochrome 3.0 skin with only codecs loaded coreavc 1.9.5 with included Haali and xvid codecs. This is a client only box with the backend on a W2K8 server.
Try this one and let me know how it works for you compared to the original DLLs. These are the DLLs I exchanged in my 1.1.0 Beta 1 Install, therefore they should work for you as well.
You will probably see dropped frames quite often until I figure out why they are often coming late from the mixer or not properly scheduled. It's a different issue and the next one I'm dealing with. One patch for each issue....
I'll get this player smooth, but it might need a few more patches in different areas.

I'm glad there's something going on concerning the sync issue. Is it possible to release these dlls for the 1.0.2 stable version? My system is very stable at the moment and I don't want to upgrade to a beta version, the only problem I have are these sync issues in 24p mode, only in MediaPortal. Would be a great deal!
Okay the issue is fixed for me. Also, the playback is a bit smoother now (for 23.976 content @ 24Hz). Thanks so much!!!![]()
