Is there a plugin available the will automatically map Tuning Channels to Guide Channels that come from an XMLTV grabber such as mc2xml?

XMLTV will allow you to load an externally created .xml file and will match against the xml channel names and the TV Server channel names (you can select "partial match" too).

It works pretty well for me.

    Thanks, Robbo100.

I tried the 'partial match' option and it worked pretty well. There were only a few channels that I had to re-map, but most mapped correctly.

I was wondering if it was worth switching to 1.1.0.0 to get the WebEPG plugin. I've been traveling a lot lately, so I need to re-scan and re-map channels often.

I use 1.1.0.0 and I still use a separate XML grabber to get the guides off the net, followed by using XMLTV plugin.

I have not tried to use the new plugin you discussed as the system works, so I don't want to change that :D.

Especially after my wife made me promise that I won't fiddle with it after I made the statement "this new version is pretty much perfect and does everything I want". Is she made - if it isn't broken, it needs more features!

I used to use the grabber but a few years back it disappeared on FreeSat DVBS. That is when I changed to EPG Collector. The extra benefit is that it collects from the Sky platform so it will give EPG for all the FreeSat channels plus the unencrypted movie channels on the Sky platform. It also allows me to pick the channels dedicated...

Thank you for pointing out that my analysis may be less than accurate. :p Although the change to TV channel 71 may not also have been applied to the independent radio channels (different MUXes), the logs that I prepared for one of the development team does show a difference between channel 704 ("BBC Radio 4") and channel 731...
