I would like to mod my Avalon skin so that shares view in Videos behaves in a similar way to what Bleazle has done here:

(For a number of reasons, including a very messy appearance in Title view)

Basically, because the video database information is already displayed at the bottom in shares view, all that I really need to change to achieve what I want is to change the navigation pane to display the film names rather than the file name, and do the same with the information panel at the bottom of the screen.

I have spent a few hours looking for the code in the xml files and also I can't find the correct variable/label/property to replace and with what. Total fail in other words.

Has anyone else tried this?

Me again, fixed SubCentral so that it works in my TvSeries and everywhere else to. Title and file name is no longer on top of each other and subtitles with the exact same name as the file name is no longer almost invisible. Hope it helps someone

Hi Kjegibbons,

Not many people have noticed your post (I was #22 opening the attachment). I had not seen it before. You already had one like by Ysmp (and now one from me). I know it is a tough life, but feedback is sometimes scarce - that is why we have the like button.

Take it they are not skin specific, so why not share over at the onlinvideo's plugin.

Last night you had 19 views and 1 like not too bad.
I was one of the 19 I downed them a while back but with a fixed background not a transparency I did not use them.
Lots of work there thanks anyway!

Hi spiel,

When I've loaded a saved playlist, and using this now playing mod, the artist/song title didn't update when the next track is started.
I've noticed this for a while, but just got round to doing something about it.

Comparing yours to the original, you had removed the reference to <import>MyMusicPlayingNow.tags.xml</import> at the end of the file. Putting this back in seems to have fixed the issue!

I think you may have removed it, as you didn't want the top album tracks etc, as now with the reference included this info is shown when Current Playlist is selected. I wonder if there is a way to hide this info, but still include the line: <import>MyMusicPlayingNow.tags.xml</import>

Thanks ibmonkey, you're right, that's exactly why I removed it. I should be able to hax something up when I get some geek time. I'll update it when I have something, although feel free to beat me to it

Here's my mod to eliminate the temperature from the right of the time if you're not using weather. Clock is shifted to the right to fill the gap.

Can someone tell me which xml I need to edit to change this view. I intend to move location of poster to bottom left + disable now playing overlay.
