Hi All,

I have updated my first post in this thread with links to xml files for Avalon mods/updates to make them easier to find. I'll try to keep it up to date but please pm me if I miss anything. Please allow for the fact that most of you are on the wrong side of the world so there may be a few hours delay between an xml file being uploaded and me updating my post

Hi All,

Here is my version of mvCentral for Avalon. The position of the album covers and video thumbs doesn't strictly follow the Avalon theme but I don't like it when fanart is overlayed with an image because 9 times out of 10 it covers someone's head which pretty much ruins the effect of fanart (imho)

Note: I have only worked on the "list view" in the mvCentral main screen, icons (big & small), filmstrip and coverflow views can be used but they won't look too great because I haven't done any work on the layout of the background etc.

EDIT: Added Hover Image (renamed the Music Vids Hover Image)

Hi All

InfoService file attached. Note: I don't use Twitter so I haven't looked at this - maybe someone else could do it? InfoService is best used with the WebBrowser plugin...

I also have an infoservice xml which I like more. Your version is not like other Avalon screens.
I will upload it this afternoon.

mmm... Dragy I think you do good work but if you're happy with the screens you have put together why don't you upload them so everyone can use them rather than coming in after someone else has put a version up? If you had already put your file(s) up I (and others) wouldn't need to I'm short of time and would much rather just click "download" on your files than try to find the time to throw a file together which I assume hasn't been done because no-one has uploaded anything.

If you would be so good as to make all of your updated files available (preferably with screenshots) that would be great, I'm sure all Avalon users would appreciate it...

You are right.. But in a lot of files, I only changed a few lines.

I will fix the image today and upload it here.
I also have Wikipedia almost ready. Not yet perfect, so I didn't upload it yet.. Will fix this today too.

1. Here my version of Infoservice (no Twitter)
2. XML for wikipedia (for some reason images don't work
3. Mod for 4TR TV Home: button behavior more logical; left button press when on left buttons, goes to right buttons. Top goes to right bottom button etc..
4. Fixed the channelname position in TV Guide (see screenshot) - can someone fix the common overlay for this? I can't get it to work
5. Some improvements for myextensions. Still some things to improve.. edit: outdated, use Bleazle's files instead

Have you tried this?

NOTE: To get the "Now Playing" info showing add <import>common.overlay.home.xml</import> to the 4TR_TvGuide.xml file (thanks to stdly for the tip)

@Dragy & SixSox - have you guys tried the updated common overlay files I posted? You might want to give them a go if you haven't, it will stop the "now playing" images from overlapping the bottom of the RSS feed image.

I am new to MP and still coming to terms with the amount of configuration. I am using the Avalon skin but I am having trouble installing the Worldweather plugin. I believe it has to be installed manually but I don't know which folder to extract the zip file to and then how to enable the plugin? i am using windows 7.
