You are totally in the wrong topic.. But I will answer it anyway. Did you know that MediaPortal has a extension installer? You can install (almost) any plugin from there and you don't have to copy any files manually. WorldWeather is also in the extension installer.

I thought this was the Avalon forum? Just quickly then I looked in the extension installer and Worldweather isn't listed in the known extensions.

This is the Avalon community mods forum. And installing a plugin has nothing to do with Avalon.
Then maybe I'm wrong. Did you update the extension list? Otherwise you can download it from here: MEDIAPORTAL - World Weather
Then you can just execute the file and it will install. Be sure that it has the .mpe1 extension and not .zip or something else

Just quickly then I looked in the extension installer and Worldweather isn't listed in the known extensions.

None of Micropolis's plugins show up as known extensions in the installer - hopefully he will sort this out at some stage.

As Dragy said the easiest way for you to install it would be to download it from here: World Weather then double click on the file - it will open the installer and install.

Then download the Avalon skin files from here, unzip them and paste them into the Avalon skin file directory (C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Avalon)

Then open MP Config and configure the plugin. If you have any specific questions regarding the WorldWeather plugin post them in this thread

Cheers guys that all helps. In my mind I am using the Avalon skin therefore any plugin or limitation is due to Avalon not MP. Do you see what I mean? Anyway I stand corrected. Thanks again for the quick responses. I've had enough configuring for the night now so I'll try again tomorrow.

Or chose between WorldWeather or the BBCWeather by cheezey (download mpei installer and run, select Avalon skin, this part cannot be done from the MPextensions installer)

No Playing Tweak

I've tweaked the Now Playing screen to make it a little more logical as far as pressing left/right/up/down etc. and replaced the top album tracks item (I never use it personally) with a link to the current play list.

It also starts on the full fanart view.

No screenshot really needed but let me know if you really want one.

I have to say this is my favourite mod so far! Thank you so much.
This was exactly what I was going to request once avalon became a bit more mature and requests like this could be looked at. It was originally a request from the gf but I also wanted it too.

I hope this can become an option and be bundled in, in a future release. Something a user could turn on/off a "simple now playing screen"
