The version that I use is the monolithic Media Portal - not the client/server version.

AVerTV GO 007 FM Plus is still not supported there. So what I did is the following.
I downloaded the latest version of application and drivers of the card from
http://www.avermedia.com/cgi-bin/su...Card&category2=Analog&proname=99&modelno=M15C

These drivers contains almost everything that is needed including a video encoder, but an audio encoder is missing there. So I downloaded an MPEG-2 audio encoder from
http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/directshow/LII_audio_encoder.zip

Once the driver and the audio encoder are installed, add to your CaptureCardDefinitions.xml the following section

After spenting a long time trying to work with ATI Radeon 9000 VIVO and MP I will go tomorow and buy the EverTV GO 007, will it work? any inputs?

Hi,

I followed the instructions verbatim. The only change I made was downloading AVerTV: 6.0.11 from:
AVerMedia MPD - Support -
instead of downloading from http://www.avermedia.com/cgi-bin/sup...9&modelno=M15C which was nothing but pop-ups.

I did download the audio encoder from http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/direc...io_encoder.zip. I double-clicked on register.bat and it entered into the registry. Was that all I was supposed to do?

I updated the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml with the provided section.

After performing these steps I still get: "No video capture cards were found..."

I know it's probably an easy, small step I missed but if anybody can help, I would appreciate it.
