Yeah, can you please post your logs? Preferably a clean log: Open MP, open TV, press the 3d hotkey (3 by default), close TV, close MP.

Let's hope sb posts some logs

    A few problems i see.

    - All MKV's with SBS will not switch from source or target format. 3 button pressed, menu visible but no selection is visible and non stays in memory of plugin.
Used stereoscopic player and then it worked to change SBS to interlaced rows (LG passive glasses 3DTV).
    - Rather slow with no DXVA usage possible. What kind of cpu do i need for this?

    1) What is the exact extension to take a look? .mkv or .mkv3d ?
    2) You need whatever you would need for rendering via Stereoscopic player. I have an i3 and works quite well. I did not notice any significant increase in processing power needs. My machine stalls sometimes in 1080p videos. Either simple or 3D.

    1) My movies are .mkv
    2) Ok, i saw in the properties of stereoscopic player that dxva is not used so you need more power then normaly on mkv's.

    It can't. :)
That's why i need more processing power or let my tv do the work on sbs movies.

    Re: [Beta - Update 2011/04/30] MP3D - Render 3D videos via MediaPortal!

Can anyone help me out as im having trouble with this whole 3d thing..

So I currently have a Samsung 59" Plasma 3d tv, a pair of active glasses, and an htpc. I have downloaded a few different players (nvidia 3d vision,3dtv.at Sterecopic player) and have yet to get anything to work. My remote for the new tv has a 3d button that can do 3 things (convert 2d to 3d, view 3d side by side, view 3d top and bottom).

So if i used one of the players mentioned above and loaded up a side by side video file do I also need to enable one of the settings on the remote? or should the glasses just work?

Sorry if i sound like an idiot..
