Re: [PoC - Update 2010/09/12] MP3D - Render 3D via MediaPortal!
Thank you for your reply.
I watched 3 movies in "avi" format, and 6 films in "mkv" format.
Plugin remember the settings for all movies.
The plugin works fine.
Thank you for your work on plugins.
I will wait.
Re: [PoC - Update 2010/09/12] MP3D - Render 3D via MediaPortal!
There are techical difficulties and that is why I am not rushing this right now. For instance:
- I do not own a TV card for my PC so it is impossible to test
- I also do not know if a post-processing filter can be applied to .ts playback.
- Can you try playing a recorded .ts with the plug-in? If not, does it play with 3dtv.at player?
- and some other stability issues. I've read around that TV playback is not that stable. I don't want people to blame me for such instabilities.

Hi
This looks like a great plugin
I have a general question, since I am now considering buying a Samsung C77 3D tv (after my old tv was stolen two days ago).
My current hdtv setup uses VGA to connect to the tv, is that ok to use for sending the 3d image to the tv, or is there some bandwidth problems involved?
Re: [PoC - Update 2010/09/12] MP3D - Render 3D via MediaPortal!
3D video is just a plain simple video split in the middle in most cases. If your current set up plays videos, there should be no problem.
Since I am no expert on these things, you should search around for the following:
- Your VGA refresh rate to be above 50Hz. 100Hz is perfect (should be dependant to your VGA card but ...)
- Samsung should allow the "3D mode" when changing to "PC" Source. Mine allows it but u never know ...
