ah right, yeah thatll be why then ! i didnt bother with tv engine as i have just a standalone htpc at home so dont need to run anything other than the built in engine.

I have a stand alone HTPC too but still use the TV Server - seems to be the recommended way to go. EDIT: I've attached the XML file to this post - drop it into the skin folder, delete the cache and see how it looks....

There is a problem with hosting the skin files on a server other than on the team-mediaportal. That is a lack of tracking. How does the team know if the skin is a "hot" skin or even if it should not be considered "dead"?

I agree that it's better to host the files here it's just a bit frustrating when you see that 40+ people have downloaded a file that you've found something wrong with and fixed/uploaded but then another 100 people end up downloading the file with the errors in it before the new file is made available by the MP team. It would be great if the submission update process was live and then checked afterwards by the team instead of the other way around but I'm sure there are good reasons for it being done the way it is.

hahaha :D glad you like it. If you put that comment on the download page it would go nuts :D :D

That must be driving you nuts! I use XP and the cache folder is here:

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache

    then delete the "Bleazle" folder.

(you need to enable "show hidden files" to see the "Application Data" folder)

Actually you don't need to touch the cache for xml changes most of the time(except for fonts.xml). When you do anything to textures tho, you HAVE to delete the cache. To be safe it won't hurt to delete cache in both cases, but as I said with xml changes you don't have to :)

Anyways; the Vista cache is located at c:\programdata\team mediaportal\mediaportal\cache

There is always the absolute simplest way, use the Windows search function, marking to find hidden files, and search for cache, usually within the first five folders found :).

    Great skin! :D

    just some smal suggestions..

Is it possible to make the tv-guide gray instead of blue..
    bleazle-albums-picture-files-picture97-tv-guide.png

Changing the blue font colour in the home section etc. would also be nice..
