...I wonder if there are any possiblities to ad this wonderfull plugin to the next release. I'ts a perfect plugin when you need to view movie or game trailers, I installed this plugin and I can guarantee a big sucess on the wife vs MediaPortal I used Blue3Wide files, and it worked fine but the menus are little strange because the 4:3 skin.....[/url]

I won't have time to "Bleazle-fy" it for the next release, but V6 of the skin will be based on Blue3Wide so hopefully your plugin will work fine using the Blue3Wide files. Let me know once you've tried it (hopefully the new version will be out by the end of next weekend...)

Do you mean for the "MyVideos" part of MP? If you do the answer is "I don't think so" (but I'm no expert!). The MovingPictures plugin is what allows the XML file to "grab" the cover art and as far as I know the MyVideos plugin in MP doesn't have that ability? If you've seen a skin that can do what you're after let me know and I'll have a look at it.

outstanding work! But I have two problems. ...The other problem is that there are no episode thumbnails. I downloaded them and TVseries configuration module also shows them to me, but as you can see on the screenshot, they are not displayed. How can I fix that? I posted the mytvseries configuration as second attachment.

I also cant see the symbols, like HD and so on...

Yeah it doesn't look too good does it? I don't know what's going on there (I've lost the episode thumbnails on my TVSeries too since going to MP 1.0.0 but apart from that it's fine.) Hopefully the TVSeries plugin will be tweaked a bit more plus I know there are a couple of guys working on other skins for it so I'll see what they come up with and with a bit of mixing and matching hopefully it'll be sorted. Hopefully in V6....

Yes, for the My Movies part. I'm not after the functionality of MovingPictures, just the list layout (movies list on the left, fanart, bottom dvd cover, movie info) with the info of MyMovies (from the video db).

I haven't got any plans to change the layout around like that - MyVideos will look different in the next release though...

Just read this on MP Home Page:

....MediaPortal 1.0.1..This will be a maintenance release fixing issues with the 1.0 version and providing some useability enhancements......But please be aware, that because of the changes, it might be required that you update all of your community plugins and skins to a 1.0.1 version.

Geez keeping up with these releases could get boring fast!! I lost a bit of motivation this week so V6 of the Bleazle skin will probably come out mid next week (just in time to be out of date again???? )

It's looking good though (well I think so anyway ). As well as doing the changeover to a Blue3Wide "base" I've improved on some of the graphics - specifically the osd background images (they were ugly) plus the green "focus" graphics have been "muted" so that they're not so shiny (they match the focus graphic currently on the home screen.)

I've also fixed a few things that are wrong in the Blue3Wide skin; There was no alarm details file and the way the slide in menu works in MyMusic isn't good (you have to click the left button twice to get it to appear after clicking PLAY on a CD cover) and if you have Audio Scrobbler activated the buttons overlay the "now Playing" title.

So the basics in the Bleazle skin are looking pretty good, now it's on to the fiddly stuff:
1. Finish sorting out the views for MyVideos & MyFilms (plugin) which I started doing before I went on holiday.
2. See where the TVSeries plugin is up to and get it working in MP1 properly with this skin
3. Moving Pictures layout
4. That will do for now - once that's all sorted I'll release version 6....

I also think that there is a good chance that once Bleazle V6 is released, a few seconds later Team MP releases MP 1.01 and V6 isn't working with that version anymore. Murphy's law, we all know it...

It's ok if you take your time for V6. It's done when it's done.
I assume you have a real life, too, where you haven't got holidays all the time (at least I hope so...)

Thanks for the interesting news about the development of V6. We all can surely wait a few more days until you release V6. Be assured, we all are really looking forward for the new (wide) version and it's improvements.

I'm sitting here burning the midnight oil trying to get this thing sorted and your message gave me a new burst of enthusiasm (either that or it's all the coffee I'm drinking! ) - you've got that greasing thing sorted (i.e. you are good at it )

I'm a bit worried about the anticipation you guys have for version 6 - there will be some changes but I don't think it's radically different from V5a unless you use the icons/big icons/filmstrip views for MyMusic & MyVideos (+MyFilms) which will be in CD cases and DVD cases respectively, plus of course the big change to the "Shares" view in MyVideos.

The TvGuide also looks better (I like it ) and I guess there are some other small tweaks I've done which I've forgotten about too but all in all it's still the same look as you already have.

I'd better get back to it...

Hey, that's exactly what I wanted to hear: No radical changes, just some small tweaks. That's the right way. I personally would be worried if you decided to change the skin radically in it's basic look and feel or make it all new. I want the Bleazle skin, nothing else
Some tweaking here, some fine tuning there and I'm happy with it.

I'd better get back to it...

Its related to My Tvseries. I am running mp 1.0 and bleazle.
but my TVseries isn't working right..I think I might have the wrong version of the DLL. Can someone point me to the right one for this super duper skin.
The correct version. I get the 9 banner menu upon entry but once I select a series. Its nearly blank. so I am using the wrong one for sure.

Help would be apprecated.

Re: TVSeries - download the latest SVN build from here: mptvseries - Google Code (MP-TVSeries-2.0.3296 (SVN).zip as of right now). Remember to delete the old .dll file (renaming it doesn't work) before putting the new .dll file in. That should work. If you drop the fanart.xml file in you should also be able to download fanart from within the skin. This is supported in the new version of the Bleazle skin (which I'm working on at the moment). Hopefully a new release of TVSeries will be out soon..
