I was just about to PM you to see if you had tried the windowplugins.dll file that geichel posted - I thought you'd be raving about it by now...

Been working 14 hour days last few... Got a break on Thurs, so I will get a chance to play then

Well... after posting the last one, I thought I better try it because I couldnt sleep without trying it !

As for my previous issue, with the view mode not being remembered. I have re-extracted the Bleazle skin after installing Moving Pics 0.7 and that has fixed the remembering (so far) of the view in Moving Pictures.

However, the view in MyVideos is still not remembering. However, I did make a change and rename 'My Videos' to Music instead.. Would that cause it ?

Also, I tried the new DLL file... Now, in the icons view of MyVideos, it doesnt display any movie info at ALL! (large cover and blurb on selected movie)

mmmmm... sounds like you've got a problem with MP there - I'm not having any issues like that and I'm sure if others were we'd have heard about it by now (over 2,000 people have downloaded V6 of the skin in the last couple of weeks so it should be well and truly tested by now). Time for a re-install maybe?

Might give it a reinstall over the weekend if I can.. Before I do, what is the best way to change the name of MyVideo's in the home/main screen ? I want it to be "Music" instead..

to

Easy as You might want to change the "hover" graphic as well? A camcorder doesn't really go with "Music Videos"...

ho all.
I have an odd problem. I suspect isn't anything new.
I just am not sure how to search the forum for it.
I am using MP 1.0 and the Bleazle skin..love it by the way.
but once in a while when I play a movie..not sure if it happens with a TV show..but movie for sure.
The screen resolution of course changes to display the movie..thts my theory anyway and I am sticking to it.
anyway, when teh movie ends the screen returns to the previious resolution but Mediaportal has remained at the smaller form size and is sitting there in teh upper left had corner. If I start a movie again the movie plays full screen and when the movie ends. MP is full screen again.

Any thoughts.

Hey Bleazle, ignore my request about the music hover icon, etc... I copied everything that said music and changed the name to Videos and now it looks much more appropriate

Hi All

Just thought I should let you know that BleazleWide V6.1.0 has been released - go to the MP Home Page, or the first post in this thread for the link.

I was going to wait until MP 1.0.1 came out before releasing a new version but I've changed quite a few things since V6 was released so I figured I'd keep you guys up to date. The main changes are as follows:

ForTheRecord is now supported. If you're still using the built in TVPlugin I highly recommend taking a look at For The Record - it blows the stock TVPlugin away (imho)

MovingPictures 0.7.0 is supported - the skin has been changed to incorporate the fading backgrounds etc that the plugin is now capable of...

TVSeries V 2.1.3321 is supported. Plus the skin files have been tweaked a bit.

NOTE: If you're using these plugins make sure you have the above versions installed.

MyVideos - IMDB info added to Genres/Title etc views + WindowPlugins.dll file is included to sort out the issue Spaldo picked up with regard to focusing on folders...


MP dashboard (system info) + Drive Free Space Plugins supported

Found a bit of a bug:
when in the TV window (not fullscreen but the one with the menu) and the tv is on, if you jump to my videos the TV overlay stays where it is. This effectively covers the list...

Sorry, I meant when you list the seaons of the series. The episdoes it should show up, but in the season view, there of course, isnt a episode picture for a season...

I dunno, but I kind of like it I can have up to 5 HDD's hooked up to my HTPC so it's quite good being able to see at a glance where the storage is up to. As you can see in the attached screenshot I've combined the MP dashboard (system info) + the Drive Free Space plugins into one screen which I think looks pretty cool Apparently it should also show any info that the Speedfan plugin puts out but I haven't been able to get that to happen yet - I'll let you know if I get it sorted...

That's about it.
