    Hi,
I want to buy a satellite tuner card, and I can choose between two models:
Skystar HD2 and Technotrend TT S2 3200. I do not know at all, which is the best.

If you have these cards, can you help me?

    Hi azzuro

You need to give people more time to respond. ;)
I have both of these cards, but I think it would be unwise for me to answer your question unless you say what features are most important to you. I'm talking of:
    - cost
    - reliability
    - CI function reliability
    - CI CAM compatibility
    - DiSEqC support
    - DiSEqC switch/motor compatibility
    - support for high data rate DVB-S2 transponders
    - support for decrypting multiple channels at once

    Hi again azzuro

    - reliability : the most :p
I haven't had my HD2 for very long. Both seem to work okay...

    - CI function reliability : Yes, if i want have canal Sat
I don't have Canal Sat here in NZ, and I don't yet have a CI for my HD2. The S2 3200 seems to work very nicely.

    - CI CAM compatibility : i don't Know
    Neither do I really.

    - DiSEqC support : YES 2 LNB
Both work well with my EMP Centauri switch. :)

    - support for high data rate DVB-S2 transponders : For DVB S2 YES
The S2 3200 claims to support DVB-S2 transponders with between 10000 and 30000 ksps.
    I can't find information for the HD2.
I only have access to a few DVB-S2 transponders, and the symbol rate is relatively moderate (22500). Both cards work fine with that.

    - support for decrypting multiple channels at once :it's possible to décode with one card 2 channel ?
    Yes! :)
This is called multidecrypt. Your CAM also needs to support this function for it to work. MP has supported this with the S2 3200 for a long time. I think the HD2 may also support it, but you would need to use my patch from -->here<--.

@MM what is your model ?
    I have both. :)

I have a preference for the TechnoTrend! but the advantage of the SkyStar is that it is very common!.
I think both are very good cards! Roof as you have both, which do you prefer?

    MP1 MP2 Card recommendation DE
I have a TBS 6284 PCIE card, which is an older quad-tuner DVB-T/T2 card. The tuners are significantly more sensitive than my Pinnacle 2000i DVB-T dual tuner card (and hence less likely to exhibit pixelation), but noticeably less sensitive than the tuner in my Sony TV. The Pinnacle card has been "rock solid" -- no problems at all. But...
