Choose language of translated properties (1 Viewer)

Am I just stupid but I didn't find a button in the Config to change language of translated properties for TVSeries. Could anyone help me?

If you're referring to the GUI language, you can find that on 'General' tab, right on top. The other Language selection is on 'Online Data' tab, but that's for series info retrieval (as you probably know)

What version are you using (i'm on v3.2.0.1909, haven't updated yet...)

I just updated to latest version, and now i'm missing that setting also.
And i see the Wiki about language isn't updated, so not sure if this is correct or not. Let's see what Damien has to say about this.

I know damienh did some work with regards to languages for MovPic, so perhaps he used that experience to streamline MP-TVSeries. Perhaps he removed the setting and reads the language from MediaPortal language setting itself?

The 'General' -> TheTVdB language option still exists for the data retrieval part on the TV shows themselves. Re-using the MediaPortal language setting for GUI makes more sense, as I doubt a Dutch user with MediaPortal changed to Dutch would want to use English for GUI inside MP-TVSeries.

Or we can wait till the Oracle returns to answer

I use English as language in MP but I wanna change some strings. Any hint if there is a language file which I have to change or does My TVSeries now use the MediaPortal translations?

It's really up to the skinner, but mainly they will use the translations from the plugin in the language\MP-TVSeries directory. There is nothing stopping skinner using both mediaportal and tvseries translations.

So if I use English as MP language in which file I have to look?
There is en(us).xml and en-US.xml in the language\MP-TVSeries directory.

Setting to English United states will use en-US.xml, if its not there you can create it (I think it will need to be en.xml for default English). If no xml is found then it uses the hardcoded strings from plugin.
