Since it *seems* to be a hardware card (doesnt like listing it using those words so it might not be) youll need to do whats in the 'how to get my support for my tv card added' in hardware support.

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
