Right after a little bit of playing I have ComSkip working but it is not being triggered by the TV Server. If I manually select a ts file that I recorded and click test it does the business but it is not kicking in automatically when the recording has finished.

I have looked in the TVServer logs but I can't find anything about comskip at all.

    Any ideas?

Some people use dirmon to start comskip, others use "comskip monitor" (google for it)
Don;t know how comskip is integrated in MP
COmskip monitor is simple but has few options

This is the update for mcebuddy's ini files, only try these if you have problems with erik's default ones.

MCEBuddy 3rd line under MCEBuddy Download, "download commercial removal update" :)

    From memory

    Still strugling :(

As posted, if I drag and drop the files to the comskip.exe file it works, but cannot get MP to trigger the file when using the test button in TVServer config.

Witch version of ComSkip are you guys (who get this thing to work) using?
Is there any settings I need to change other than extracting the files, pointing to comskip.exe in TVServer config? Tried with both blank and {0} in parameter option, but the result is the same, the flashing console window.

I really like my recordings com free, but having to do it manually after each recording su*ks.

i really hope that by {0} you actually mean "{0}"

Well - You are my hero :)

Since some guys said it worked even without parameters, and I have tried both without and with {0} I didn't check to much if the spelling was correct, just tried what it says when you push the ? button, with the parameter set to "{0}" the test works - Jooohoooo :) Now I hope I'll get it to work under MP ;)

The file your looking for is a EDL file, which comskip produces for MP to read.

I just enable, "use comskip file to skip adverts" in the MPconfig\general setting.

i know for some people previously the only way this worked correctly, was to access the files via the Movies screen (add TVrecordings folder to Movies), use shares view and navigate to file, press play and it should automatically skip adds.

Saying this, with RC4 mine works from Recorded TV, so in theory this should work fine for all.
