CT TV Listings EPG Plugin (4 Viewers)

I am having an issue getting the plugin to update the EPG.

The plugin has successfully downloaded the Channels from CT TV Listings. I have mapped them to my tuner and I can watch television in MP (using TVE3). However, the "TV Guide" doesn't have the show titles or anything. It displays says "No Data Available". However, if I select "My TV -> Channel" and select a GROUP, It displays the "Now" and "Next" with no problems. I don't know why the TV GUIDE isn't working.

FYI, I purchased a year subscription from CT TV (the highest one to get all the info).

OK. I figured it out. It appears that the EPG was downloaded but the data appears to start midnight (12am) the following day. So you won't see data in the TV GUIDE until 12am (i.e. scroll over too 12am and you will start to see EPG data).

First, thanks for this plugin, it apparently works!

I've got the plugin installed and I've created a new account at CTTVListings, but everytime i start media portal, it says that it's unable to get listing data, and to check my username and password. No matter how many times i set it, i go back into the configuration and it doesn't save my password. not sure what's going on... also, when i click the link to goto the CTTV website, the link in the configuration window doesn't shoot you to https://, just http:// so it fails... anyways, any help would be appreciated!!

Not sure which version of anything you are using
MP Stand alone, TVE3, etc?

Have you specified your lineup at CTTVlistings with your zip and provider?

After you check your lineup if you are still having problems can you post
the log file AFTER an update attempt (epg.log for MP Stand alone or tv.log for TVE3)

Also, thanks for the bug about the link, I will fix that for the next release

Patrick, looks like i got it working, I just unchecked the rename existing channels and add new digital channels and it started downloading them straight away. Thanks again for the great plugin... which makes it ok that it's one of the only ones for the U.S. epgs! Have great christmas.

Hi,

I am not sure what was wrong and/or fixed but I just tested
with todays build: TVEngine3 Snapshot: 12-26-2007 10-51h Revision 16736
and it is working again.
(I think all 3rd party plugins that used GetSettings() were broken)

heya patrick-was hoping for some support on the following message "unable to download CT tv listing-have you done an autotune?" (I have of course, but only have 1 channel in there-trying to setup the latest mediaportal 0.2.3.0 standalone and don't seem to be having much luck.

Hi,

Make sure you are using the latest version of the plugin from the downloads
and that you have a lineup specified @ CTTVListings
