CT TV Listings EPG Plugin (5 Viewers)

heya patrick-was hoping for some support on the following message "unable to download CT tv listing-have you done an autotune?" (I have of course, but only have 1 channel in there-trying to setup the latest mediaportal 0.2.3.0 standalone and don't seem to be having much luck.

Hi,

Make sure you are using the latest version of the plugin from the downloads
and that you have a lineup specified @ CTTVListings

thx-not sure how I got it working, but it is now....

Sadly, the Directtvtune plugin doesn't work with 0.2.3.0 with my D10-100 for some reason (and no one seems willing to help )....but this gives me an idea-does the CT tv tune plugin work with 0.2.2.0? If so, I can load my old 0.2.2.0 on it and use that.

Glad you got it working!
No, the plugin does not work with 0.2.2.0 (probably for the same reason the DirectTvTune plugin does not work with 0.2.3)

Do you have the source for the DirectTvTune plugin. I could probably recompile it if that is what you need.

It's ok-I have C# (just installed it). I'm gonna poke around the code and see if I can figure out why it's not working for me

OK, one place to start looking is loading and saving settings as it changed between versions.

patrick, is there anyway to get the guide to download initial data so i can see my epg for now, instead of at midnight tonight (on first download)? Also, just reloaded my machine, installed plugin, and still go the same error as before with the "rename existing channels..." selected, works beautifully without it checked (except for my listings starting at midnight ). cheers!

Hi,

I have been a little slammed lately so sorry for the late reply.
The listings work on a daily basis, meaning you can request only entire days without regard to time.
I wonder if the listings are no longer available for a day after a certain time.
I will have to do some testing to know for sure what is happening.

I've setup TV3 server to record episodes as follows <series>-<episode>-<name> and the CT TV listings plugin seems to download the production order number instead of the episode number and was wondering how you deal with this when using the TVSeries plugin?

Upgraded to TVE3 -- new problems...

I upgraded to TVE3 to get some more features, but now my listings won't map any longer. Here's what I get in the log:

Hi,

Yep it can be confusing.
From what I am told that info comes from the shows/networks and can be whatever they wish to put there.
I have seen it as the production number, the absolute episode number and the episode number in the season
and the season and episode number combined.

Try: Allow channel mapping by channel number only

Wow, looking back maybe I could have worded that better in the configuration
