Database View or share view (1 Viewer)

Hello Community!

At the moment in MyMusic i only use the share view with the known issues. Isn't it possible, to get this View in database mode:

Is the (Release year) part of your "Artist" field?
If so, this looks like the standard artist (Interpreten) view.
You might need to delete the grouping by letter like "A", B" etc.
which is easy in configuration (press "d" on the group line and save view)

Should be possible.
You need to create a custom view.

1. Take a view like artist
2. Give a new name for the view "interpreten nach Jahr"
3. edit the view parameters:

a) artist
b) year
c) album
d) track

4. save

cannot test it atm, but should be possible.

No, it doesn't work! Thats the result of your suggestion!



What i would like to have is the fallowing: All Albums in in alphabetical order in List View e.G:

Anna Netrebko (2003) - Opera Arias
Anna Netrebko (2004) - Sempre Libera
Anna Netrebko (2006) - Russian Album

.
.
Herbert Von Karajan (1954) - Humperdinck - Hänsel und Gretel
Herbert Von Karajan (1983) - Grieg - Peer Gynt Suites 1&2; Sibelius - Pelléas et Melisande
Herbert Von Karajan (1984) - Beethoven - Symphonie No. 9
.

Wiener Philharmoniker (1991) - Neujahrskonzert 1990

But it should be in database mode, not in share mode!

The picture you attached shows me, that you have a line in your view like

Selection: artist
Operator: group
Restriction: 1

Otherwise it would not show "A" "B", because this is what "group" (gruppieren) and 1 (1 letter/Buchstabe)


please go again to configuration and put at the end of this line a "d" in order to delete it. You should be closer to what you want.

Here is the result:



Outstanding in this view is, that after the artists beginning with B, the artists with J are following!

I hope, that the day will come, that i understand this configuration! To learn latin in school 30 years ago was easier!

O.K. tried for 1/2 hour. Admitted it is no easy task. Thank God you have to do this only once.

That is how far I got. Not 100% what you wanted I guess.
There is also a music sort section. But this only works on the track level, I think.
First level is like your picture above (artists)
