Why is it that everytime I "retune" my tv card, it adds a lot of new channels. Then I try to delete every double channel. I Click "ok" and fire up the configurator again, and the files are back... :-(

    Hi,
Try to delete the channels in MP Setup -> Television -> Capture Cards -> your Card -> Edit,

For my analog card, that is possible.

However, for my DVB-T card there are no options at that place to delete channels.

If the "delete" button in the page I originally mentioned can not be used, it should be removed to avoid confusion?

    It can be used..
But there are some things to consider:
Does your EPG or some mapping file still contain the channels you want to delete?

It is quite frustrating. Because the DVB-T autotune section does not contain the "channel list" that my analog card has, I cant delete anything there. When I delete the channels from Television->TV Channels->TV channels tab , they still appear under the TV Cards tab.

I am really missing a config "apply" button. Or "resynchronising" the state for every menu selection inside. I tried deleting ChannelList.xml

I have a webEPG set up, but is it really reverting my channel removals without me triggering the exe file?

    regards
    Knut

The only changes I see are: Updated Marcel Groothuis version of the plugin to now support Media Portal 2.5 I can't say anything about the functionality of this plugin, I don't use TV Part, but if there are any changes that can be simply transferred, then I can try. But I can't give any guarantees.

Hi, it looks like the Client's server connection settings got corrupted somehow and were reset, hopefully this is an easy fix. Open MP2-Client, navigate to Settings->General->Connectivity->Home server. In the menu on the left there may be an option Detach from home server, if there is click it and acknowledge the dialog that pops up...

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...
