Need some more advice guys (I'm such a noob when it comes to powerstuff...) :D

I've ordered an Arduino Leonardo and my LED Strips.
Now i need some more material to connect the strips together (corners) and a power supply.
Technical specs of the LED Strips:

So max power consumption is 3.6A per meter. I've got 4 meters so i assume my power adapter should be able to handle about 15A right?
what about the cables to connect the strips together? should those also be able to handle 15A??
I've been looking at adjustable adapters which can output 5V, but most Amps i find for those is 4200mA so i assume i'm calculating wrong??

Any advice is highly appreciated :D

Yeah, you would need at least 15A. I checked led-studien.de, however, the only one that would work is a 26A power supply. I also checked the german conrad shop (as you used conrad aswell), and found this one: http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/...eraet-Einbau-Netzteil-Schaltnetzteil?ref=list

    28€ for 5V, 16A.

You need some wires to connect the corners to each other. You also should reconnect the powersupply at the start of every strip, otherwise the resistence would be to high.

I haven't seen anything specific about the power connections on the specs of the LEDs i ordered, but i've read on led-studien.de they suggest to attach power every 2 meters (for almost similar LEDs).

I've just returned from a trip to our local electronics shop ;) and got me a nice 5V 20A industrial powersupply:

If needed i can always split the power into 2 parts (which i probably do, because the cable that connects the LEDs all together should also be able to handle at least 8A (or 14,4 when the entire strip is powered at once...)

Arduino Leonardo + casing ordered and just received an email that my LEDs are already packed and ready for shipping :D

I'm so so curious about the results once it's done :D

Me 2! I already following these threads for more then a year now, but still haven't made a decision about what to buy!
I just couldn't wait anymore and i feel like a puppy lying for the front door, waiting for the postman to bring him gifts :p

I'll definitely post a video once it's all up and running.
