    Re : File Explorer

    Hi,
I tested with B3W, BG, Xface and XFactor skins with music playing.
As you can see below, I can't reproduce this problem.
But, all theses skins have <allowoverlay>no</allowoverlay>
May I have your StreamedMP skin files, to see if I have same issue as you ?

Here you go framug. You don't need to test with music playing, im clueless what the problem is and may have to debug it manually since you can't reproduce.

    Re : File Explorer

Well, thx for your skin files where, unfortunaly I can't reproduce case.
Difference I found, comparing your log :
    - You are with nvidia card where I am on ATI card.
    - All the plugins you use and I don't use :
    Cornerstone.dll
    Cornerstone.MP.dll
    GUIGlobalSearch.dll
    MediaSlayer.dll
    MovingPictures.dll
    MP-TVSeries.dll
    MPEIPlugin.dll
    MyLyrics.dll
    MyTrailers.dll
    OnlineVideos.dll
    SubCentral.dll
    WebBrowser.dll
    MyRefresh.dll
    SkinTranslations.dll
Can you try disabling them, please, for testing ?
Regarding your log, it seems MPEI plugin worked on the same time (in a different thread) when you used File Explorer plugin.
So, I will have a look in the code for verifying if never... but, without reproducible behaviour, I'm afraid a have no clue for this problem.

Thanks for looking framug, I just tried disabling everything but File Explorer but still get the problem. I will check on another computer with ATI graphics for testing and let you know. Will also do an update on my Nvida ones.

    Re : File Explorer

    Hi ltfearme,
I took a look inside code.
You are true (again and again) :D
This is because File Explorer plugin, in case of text preview, make an insane loop and saturates MP with messages.
I can't see graphical glitches because, maybe my computer has a bit more power than your.
Therefore, just for a text preview case, I will not rewrite this part.
If someone want to improve, feel free, it's open source. ;)
    Regards.

    Re : Re: File Explorer

Is this plugin still being developed?
    Hi,
What is exactly your question for ?
Do you want to know if it will be maintained or improved a bit, depending on some users demands ?
Or is it because you need to dev a great change on it ?

I want to know if it will be maintained and bugs fixed.

For example: if I set any path as default for the right window in the xml file (since it can't be done directly via the config), FileExplorer shows an "unknown exception" error when started. If I don't set anything for right windows (left windows works fine) it works, but sometimes it gives the same error for no apparent reason. I'm using MP 1.1.0 final and Black Glass Nova skin.

I have remotely-controlled uTorrent running on my HTPC which is set to move completed downloads to E:\Complete. I then use FileExplorer to move these to Movies, Anime or TVSeries folders from within MP (since I want to control the HTPC with only a remote, going to Windows isn't an option); however, the "Unknown exception" error is so frequent FileExplorer is almost useless.

    Re : File Explorer

hmm, I'm sorry if it doesn't work "plenty" for you.
Therefore, I never read (or maybe I missed something) wich could at least inform about this problem.
Then PLEASE, erase all your logs, do the same thing wich cause problem and post logs here.
Then, maybe, I will see where is the problem.
And please, no need to be so harsh, otherwise, do it by yourself. ;)
