Same behaviour here when i use the PowerDVD codec for interlaced LiveTV. No flickering when using Ati Avivo Codec.

I don't experience any problems anymore. With one of the newest drivers (ATi), the problem is gone!

Same here no flickering anymore with Cat 10.2

Hi guys,

Can we have some positive confirmation that 10.2 ATI (with MP 1.1 RC) and DXVA working, has solved the flickering issue?

It would be nice to identify if its either both things together, or one of them thats fixed it

And whether its 32bit/64bit/or both??

With 9.12 I also hadn't the flickering.. So, maybe there is something changed in MP

DXVA is still working for me under 10.2 my X2 2300BE would otherwise have a lot of load with HD playback

Have had the flickering issue for a long time as well. Have not had the time yet to update will keep people posted as well. ()Always nice to get additional confirmations).

When checking 10.2 notes it does have a flickering fix for fullscreen blu-ray playback with dual link display in vista as well as a windows 7 fix for a flickering issue with unigine heaven benchmark.

Maybe it had some nice additional benefits ?


Windows 7:
Flickering grass and white borders are no longer visible in Unigine "Heaven"
benchmark in DirectX 9 mode

Windows Vista:
Desktop no longer flickers during fullscreen Blu-ray playback with dual-link display
on some ASICs
