    For my setup (Windows 7 32bit, MP 1.0 Beta + latest SVN) it just flickers with interlaced video (576i, 1080i). Progressive channels (720p) are fine. Since most channels are (stupidly) interlaced I have this problem on nearly all channels. But the flickering isnt that bad as in Vista so I am ok with it for now.

    I confirm this bug as well. Windows 7 32bits. ATI 3200 with catalyst 9.11. Codec CYberlink + EVR. Still happening with VMR and any other hardware rendered codec.

    That's odd. For me it doesn't flicker at all anymore. Using W2K8 sp1, ATI HD2600 XT catalyst 9.7, MonoChrome skin, Cyberlink 8 decoder, dscaler audio (SPDIF), EVR.

    But I'm using 1.0 SVN 22029 on both the server and clients (ION client, using Vista Basic, EVR,Cyberlink 8).

    @pnyberg
    but i'm shure you don't have working DXVA.

    Yes, I do. I'm very picky with picture quality - so I know directly when DXVA is not working... because imho the picture quality without DXVA is very bad...

    Picture quality? Only difference when using Cyberling MPEG-2 decoder (DXVA ON/OFF) is deinterlacing like on 2nd and 3th picture:

    OK, it is the deinterlacing I meant, thanks hoborg. In my view it is unwatchable without DXVA... (unless you fiddle with ffdshow filters etc I suppose...).

    Hello,

    At the moment I"m using W7 32 and 64 bits with Catalyst 9.11. Menu's are flickering when TV-picture is rendered. It seems to be decoder related, because when I use the ATI Avivo MPEG2 decoder, the flickering is almost gone. With the Cyberlink decoders is the flickering much more worse.

    Regards,
    Nico

    ^ I have same behaviour.

    I think it disappears if you use a non-DXVA codec, like FFDShow. (To lazy to test atm :D).

    EDIT: Oh, and how much it flickers is skin-dependant. (X-factor is, sadly, worst).
