Hard to tell because you didn't provide any info. Are you talking about MP2?

As you know, even in MP1, any 720 skin will run in 1080 just fine. But the graphics will be resized in best way possible to fit the display. That could certainly bring some "rough edges" because of the nature of raster graphic files. But the new 1080 skins are using graphics optimized for their resolution so there is no more resizing needed to fit the display. So depending on graphics quality skin author provides, you will no longer see any rough edges

btw... of all the new skins for the comming release doesn't show any DVD cases in the flow option.. is there a limitation?

Patience grasshopper MP 1.2.0 is a big leap especially in skin engine features. We are only working towards beta already. So we need to give skin designers some time to get creative with how to implement all the new toys fully. Besides, we don't want to show you everything ahead of time now do we? emphatic will end up having a heart attack if he sees everything that he can't have yet!

What I am so excited about is seeing so many new original skin designs for MP and many HD! Soon XBMC desginers will be copying and porting our MP designs!

Other than the 5 skins pictured in the blog, is there a list somewhere of skins that are full HD 1080?? most skins seemed to have stopped specifying the resolution they are designed for. I would like to know which ones have been 'updated' and be able to see when new ones are updated to HD1080 and added to the list.

Majority of the skins are designed for 720p (1280*720).
Those skins will work on displays running @ 720p and 1080p.

Skins like StreamedMP let you choose the fontsize during installation. So that you can customize it for your needs.
But we are discussing ways of having the resolution "the skin was designed for" displayed in the respository.
