The password encryption problem has been fixed in current build 4364

    Thanks horned_reaper! Testing it now....

Hi, i have problem importing phonebook. If there are multiple "private" numbers or "mobile" it just only picks up maximum of two numbers on import. Correct?

    Hi wouter1971,

this limitation is not on the FritzBox Manager's side. It comes from the FRITZ!Box which has only three number types (private, business & mobile) per phone book entry. If you'd like to store multiple numbers of the same type you have to create a new contact in the FRITZ!Box phone book.

    Best regards

    Hi Horned_Reaper,

That's realy not true. I have entries of multiple mobile and private numbers (same type). Three numbers an entry i.e.
Also seen in export xml from fritzbox. On import it only picks up 2 numbers max per entry.

    Greetings,

    Wouter

I need some more information to reproduce the problem:
    1. Which application do you use for the address book export?
    2. Do the multiple mobile and private numbers have the same name?
    3. Which suffixes did you specify for the import in FRITZ!Box Manager plugin?
    4. Do you use an FRITZ!Box phone book (not that from the FRITZ!Box Manager plugin)?
    5. If yes, do you see all phone numbers there?

I have the root cause. The export from fritzbox to xml is ok, but the import in fritzbox callmonitor to export to adr file is the problem. It's incomplete. I cannot import the xml right? Do you have another option for me besides the fritxbox callmonitor to export to adr?

    Greetings,

I don't know any. But the FRITZ!Box Monitor supports direct download from the FRITZ!Box. Does this work in your case?

No, that's what i mean, if it downloads from fritzbox it's not copying all numbers from the entries.

Edit: I have a workaround by just only using private/business/mobile as type. Maximum of three numbers then. Import is working then as expected.

Question: What is the meaning of the suffixes on import as nothing is done with what i make of them. If i translate them the entries are back to default "@work" and "(mobile)" if i look into the phonebook after import.

    Hi horned_reaper,

Could you please lookup the size of the meta0 file? Did it work with previous FRITZ!Box Manager versions?

The file is 5.78KB and unfortunately I have not tested it before. So can't confirm if it was working in the previous version.

There are two phone books - the one from the FRITZ!Box and the FRITZ!Box Manager phone which is stored locally on your Media PC. The suffix setting is for the import to the locally stored phone book. The suffixes are written to the end of each name when you import the CallManager file.

I plan to remove the locally stored phone book and use the FRITZ!Box phone book only. This saves the expenso to maintain phone numbers doubly. Of course I'd take care that all extra features like caller pictures and filter remain.
Any comments on this from the community?

Currently I've no explanation to this error.
Which FRITZ!Box type and firmware are you using?
Could you please temporary rename the voicebox directory on the FRITZ.NAS share, restart MediaPortal, then make a new voice box message and then test if the voice box message is displayed then?
Afterwards you can delete the voicebox directory and rename the original one back again.
Would be useful to know if the error is related to your meta0 file

I'm not sure if the voice box decoder is compatible with FRITZ!Box 7390. Let's see what your test shows...

    Horned_reaper,

Does this mean that i then do not need the fritzbox callmonitor pc application as a sidestep to generate the adr file?

The MediaPortal plugin can import the phonebook directly from Fritzbox modem then?
