Getting IMDB in some of the titles (1 Viewer)

On some of my movies I get IMDB - Movie Name such as IMDB - Transformers

Any easy way to fix this.

Sorry for the trouble. It is a bug in the scraper script. You can load in the updated script that you can download here or you can try the IMDB+ scraper script. Will try to get a proper release with this fix included out ASAP.

I just downloaded it, but not sure if it helped.

You need to refresh the scanned files to correct the naming using imdb+ script.

Default imdb.com scraper-script:

1. Download the .xml file for latest default imdb.com scraper-script from the Google Code project site to a location you remember.
2. Open "MediaPortal - Configuration", go to the "plugins" and select "Moving Pictures" and "Config".
3. Select the "Importer Settings" tab.
4. In the "Data Sources:" section select the "Manually manage movie data sources" radio button.
5. Click the "Movie Details Data Sources" button.
6. In the popup click the arrow just to the right of the "+" button and pick "Add a New Data Source".
7. Browse to the new .xml scraper file you downloaded in first step and click OK.
8. You should the imdb.com scraper-script entry now with updated version number and date the script was released. If the imdb.com scraper-script is greyed out then you may need to enable it by pressing the "+" button, and optionally move it to the position in the list that you prefer priority wise (first position is best if you want this to be your default one).

IMDb+ scraper-script (auto-installs and auto-updates via the IMDb+ plugin):

1. Open the "MediaPortal Extension Installer" shortcut on your desktop (needs MediaPortal v1.2.x)
2. Click on "Known Extensions" tab and look for "IMDb+", if you can not find it, then click on "Options" tab and use the "Download online update info" button to get the latest info.
3. Click on the "Install" drop down button and select v1.3.0.188 at the bottom and go through installation
4. Open MediaPortal config and close it (this is to work around a bug in MediaPortal where fresh installed plugins might not show up properly). This bug is known and being worked on, so hopefully next MePo version this step can be skipped.
5. Start MediaPortal GUI and go to Plugins -> IMDb+ and then configure everything to your liking, such as short or long summaries, and many other options, each of which is explained via description as you go through them.
6. Then open the 'hidden menu' (left right on the default skins) and use the "Force IMDb+" button to convert your existing collection to switch over to the IMDb+ scraper-script.
7. Then re-open the 'hidden menu' and use the refresh button to refresh your existing collection to use the correct information via IMDb+. The very first time to correct titles, summaries and every other field that you have to enable the "Refresh All Fields" option in the list of IMDb+ scraper-script options. On a fresh import this is automatically done, but on a refresh by default only updates score, votes and certification (to make refreshes go faster). Once your collection is 'fixed', you can disable the "Refresh All Fields" option.

I had IMDB+ installed, but I guess I was never using it as I still had IMDB in some names.
I applied the changes as you explained, and all is god now.

Glad it works.

And yeah, I need to update the wiki with the new screenshots I made and more explanation on all the install and usage scenarios, but I'm still working on that mass-update of the rename database with 350 movie titles that are (re)used by more then one movie.

Quick question about this, I am still getting some movies with IMDB in the title after refreshing all movies with IMDB+.
Is there a place you want us to send this to?
