Does anyone know which XML file sets the font for the TV shows on the TV guide? I have fiddled about with little luck. I have no doubt I'll find it eventually but any help would be appreciated.

I think (from memory) that it is "mytvguide.xml" under the sections "template for program title light area" and "template for program title darkarea" .....

I fiddled with those and changed the fonts to a font number set to Arial ( I also deleted the fonts folder) but it didn't change. i will try again tonight.

    Thanks Taipan

Kind of needs a Linux shell to work. I found a program called FontCreator that has a 30 day demo and 'Identity' in that program was clean as a whistle. It's clean in photshop too. I wondr if it's MP related?

The little artifacts you are seeing will be a result of packing the font into a single png file for rendering. The characters won't be spaced out enough, so when the rectangles are taken to render the font they will be picking up little bits of adjacent characters. That is my guess anyway.

Most (all?) small PC cases accept only ITX motherboards, which have only one PCI-E slot. So you could install only one PCI-E tuner card. A quad-tuner card would give you four tuners, but if you wanted more tuners you would need to use the TBS eight-tuner card, or use external tuners, either USB tuners (available with single or dual...

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

What's the best way to select a different backdrop? Sometimes the first selected backdrop is not great and I'd like to select another. Moving Pictures scales down the high res pictures and shrinks the filesize as well so I can't just go to fanart or themoviedb and get the images without doing some extra work to get the file right...

First thing to say is that I use MP1, whereas I believe that you use MP2. @ge2301 has just posted that MP2 has a "folder view" in addition to the "library view", so you should be able to set up your system as I describe below, but the details will differ. In MP1, the folders that are to appear on the "Videos" panel are defined in "MP...
