I would only really keep up on the SVNs if you have the spare time to chase a moving target. If you feel like it is going to be too much work then you should just work toward stable patches.

But, of course, it is up to you how much time you want to put in.

Tried the noise thing but it gets messy small. Tried scan lines too.

I like it too, its more interesting. While not currently possible, it would be really cool if the background MePo's expression changed based on the state of the game, a bit of an oh-oh look when the going gets tough for example. LOL!

Sounds like some additional coding may happen in the future for Tetris? It would be nice!

Glenn, please leave it as it was. i am sure you have noticed that there is no contrast now, which makes it look "boring".

You allready had the perfect look.
And there is absolutely NO NEED TO CHANGE THE FACE COLOR!

You as artist know that you can never please 100% of all ppl. and 99,99% of all members here love the look you have created for this cute little character.

Please continue with the version you created in the first place and dont let some overstated comments slow you down.

I agree with chris (infinityloop) I have lived in the southern US for the past 20+ years (in the USA for 50+ years) and I did not see any reason to change the character due to any similarity to any particular race. I especially liked the plugin character where he was Mr. PotatoHead-like exchanging his lips. In fact the only reason I asked for a change on one character (the recipe) was due to it looking like it had blood dripping from it's lips. Maybe the gravy should have been also dripping from the wisk. I think it has been said everyone has their opinion and we just need to let this talented artist continue forward with what he wanted to do. That was we have a very nice skin to use.
