In fact the only reason I asked for a change on one character (the recipe) was due to it looking like it had blood dripping from it's lips.

would be nice for a dark "Goth" Skin *lol*

Hmm. That was a night of re-rendering, re de-fringing and re-hand re-naming for the green, black, blue and grey versions of MePo. I guess I'll sleep on a decision and see how this looks in the morning.

Mzemina, did you notice I re-painted the stuff on his mouth to be more random and put muck on his chest?

The grey version of MePo is looking cool too. Stay tuned. (and good night *Yawn*)

I've encountered some talented people like you in the past and it appears to part of your nature to try and please people. But what I find if you just please yourself you get more accomplished and many people will just love your work as you love it. (please only take my comments as compliments, your work is great) Your talent is fantastic!!

chris (infinityloop) - Regarding Mr. PotatoHead. I enjoyed the humor in the movie "Toy Story" where Don Rickles played the character Mr. PotatoHead to the max. There where many adult lines in that movie!

grassynoel, you simply rock first of all I was stunned by your previous work on your homepage (looks much alike the Aardman Animation (UK) shorts that I really love) and now these MePo thingies

The "mesh error" looks to me like it could be a reflection/highlight like on the rest of the body? Maybe not though, because it doesn't seem to appear on the darker version.

Personally I liked the darker version better. The contrast and the white glow on the face just make him look nicer in some way. When looking at the two side by side I feel the the darker version is friendlier in some way, the light grey version seems a little more flat and lifeless to me.

That said, they both look great.

I have a young son, so the puddle under Weather-Mepo sometimes doesn't look like rain to me...
