It would be very helpfull if there was a function or shortcut which let MP jump to the startpage from whereever in the program.

Most of the times pressing backspace does this
Or press "the green button" on the MCE remote

Pressing Backspace does not work and I have no MCE remotecontrol. If I would know the shortcut I can implement it in the irremote.ini or the keymap.xml

    whoops, dman is correct..
    sorry..

And the green button will only work if you use the built in MCE support.
    NOT when using Girder.

dman and MrMario sure your are right. But with ESC I'm coming only one level up. I'm searching for a function that brings me to the startpage, wherever I be in MediaPortal. But now I have found that TV-fullscreen is the only place in MediaPortal where ESC doesn't bring me to start.

You can sniff http comunication with the help of Wireshark or Fiddler to determine channel url which can be used to create IPTV channel in TV server. If the url is not static(changes dynamically)...

OSD progress bar that shows different positions (current position, buffered position, total buffer length) chapter indicators, so you can see, where you can jump respectively from...

Just did an update of my system from Win 7 / MP 1.25 to Win 10 / MP 1.31 on a single seat system and came across a problem with the tv server startup being erratic. Approx 50% of the time on PC reboot from scratch the tv server process was showing "starting" but would never start and consequently neither would MP or MP Server Config...
